Hello Lightwave Crew,
Thanks for the latest newsletter. It looks great and it’s good to catch up with what’s happening down your end and beyond.
Things are going beautifully on our trip back towards Darwin. Have had mainly wonderful weather, mixed with some wet and blustery conditions – but we’re very happy with the way Brahminy handles the heavier seas and strong winds that we are not used to, being from the comparatively placid Top End. Presently in Cairns for a big refuel and re-stock before venturing into the more remote parts of the journey – particularly north of Cooktown and across the gulf.
Have also had some very pleasant ‘Lightwave encounters’ along the way. There were three of us anchored in Horseshoe Bay (Magnetic Island) at the one time (DeLight, Harmonic and Brahminy) and we also caught up for a few coldies with Bilbara at Bowen. Have got some good pix, which we will send to you, just in case you need to fill some gaps in the next newsletter.
Will be in touch again soon.
Cheers
Kerry and Col
