SOUTHERN INVASION 14/09/08
Our daughter Wendy and grand daughter Miss VERY CUTE BETHANY BUBBS have arrived to sample the QLD sun and to dive/fish/cruise with us on our jouney to Townsville.

RUSSELL ISLAND (FLYNN & NORMAN REEF) 17/09/08
Arrived after a good journey, Wendy and I went snorkeling straight away. We saw three turtles, one which wanted to mate with Wendy. We also saw a large (2m) Grey shark which didn’t like us and two stingrays, one being 1.5 meters long.
We went fishing, trolling, and caught 2 mackeral. One spanish and one Shak mackeral. And we also caught a Yellow Fin Tuna.

We went to Flynn reef and only snorkled because diving there wasnt very good from past experence. We saw some good fish and did a photo comp with me and dad which i took the best photos of fish and he took the best of the coral.

We went to Normal Reef and Wendy and I went diving, her frist dive since 2001. We saw so much beautiful dead coral which was boring but alot of great fish esp. nemo fish. Sadly bethany cried a little while we were diving but all went well enough.
