DUNK ISLAND 18/09/08
We got to return to the Island which we had been to before the year before. Back to the island full on joy and a perfect resort. Although Ii must admit the small pool is way to small.
There is a funny story to the way we arrive, at Russell island we nearly hit the botton at 2am. So at 2am our seven hour journey began to Dunk island. Although we were all tired, we had naps and were fine by 3am for a trip over to the island. We go there and had some drinks, talked to some people and then went for a walk around the island were we saw the all places you can stay esp. the one that cost over a thousand dollars to go.
We went on a walk that showed us were a famous man had lived after being given 6months to live because of cancer and he lives twenty years on. We aslo walked on the beach and took some photos and the whole time bethany slept but oh well. Then we came home and we had baked beans for dinner which was yummy and then we played poker. Of course no-one really got it and it was just pretty wierd but at least we had alittle fun.
PALM ISLAND 19/09/08
Breaky at Brook Islands. Picnic Lunch up the creek at Zoe Bay and evening meal at Little Pioneer Bay. Hilite swimming with the fish up the creek at the water fall.
TOWNSVILLE 22/09/08
We are in Townsville and its now September 23rd. The worst and best day of the year. I am travelling home with my sister and travelling back to the freeze. I am looking forward to seeing my friends and getting back to school and seeing everyone and getting back into my normal life.
Ill be able to see all my other family and everyone i missss 🙂
