HINCHINBROOK
We have just spent two glorious day anchored off Hinchinbrook Island. The landscape is spectacular. We went down a couple of creeks in our dinghy fishing for barra but no joy. I was more concerned about crocs in the narrow creeks as we were only in our little rubber ducky. As we were about to leave Hinchinbrook I watched a 2m croc stealthily crossing the river about 100m from us. We are now anchored off Dunk Island where we went ashore for cocktails and a lovely walk. When we got back on board Pete caught a tiny bream which was chased by a wahoo, who ended up on the hook instead. Pete has been redeemed. No beef jerky and ships biscuits for dinner tonight!
